Filtermist’s turnkey package removes oil mist issues for Formaplex
Automotive manufacturing solutions company Formaplex has noticed a visible improvement in the air quality in its facility thanks to a comprehensive turnkey package from oil mist extraction specialist Filtermist.
Due to Formaplex’s recent growth, the company was running its machining centres continuously to meet demanding production guidelines. As a result, the oil mist within the facility had increased, leaving traces of residue in the air and on its equipment. Operation manager Ben Yule said: “The oil mist was starting to cause concerns and we needed to find an effective solution to the problem.”
Filtermist provided an on-site assessment and recommended the most effective extraction equipment to solve the problem. Fourteen oil mist collectors from Filtermist’s FX range were chosen and installed on the variety of machining centres in the facility. The improvement in air quality has created a clean and safe working environment for Formaplex’s employees.
