Our product range covers safety switches, solenoid interlocks, safety controllers, PLC systems, non contact safety switches, light guards, two hand operator systems, magnetic safety locking devices, products for ASi safety systems, IP69K switches for hygienic applications and Ex components for hazardous areas. Recent developments such as the CSS safety system allows the machine builder to use components to be connected in a series or daisy chain method and still achieve Pl e according to EN 13849-1. Our latest addition is Guard Fencing which allows our customers to design a complete safety system from one source. Schmersal also offers a consultancy service, where machine builders can get risk assessments and machine stop time measurements. We also offer training for our products and the machine safety standards, to assist engineers, so they understand what is required when designing cost effective solutions for the machines they manufacture.
