ACSOFT IS delighted to be hosting a webinar on 31 January 2024 alongside, Sensidyne LP who have been designing and distributing instrumentation to keep workers safe and workplace facilities secure around the Globe since 1983.

The company says, "In this comprehensive webinar we tackle exactly what is Silica, the types of Silica dust in the air and how hazardous they are. We then go on to discuss the ways millions of workers are occupationally exposed to Silica on a regular basis across multiple industries and how that exposure can effect health. We then review how to carry out a risk assessment, what the exposure limits are and how to ensure that you are following the rules, regulations and how to measure exposure to Silica. The webinar concludes on the topic of preventing and mitigating exposures."
This webinar is suitable for any one who works in health & safety or simply has an interest in furthering their knowledge in the importance of personal air quality monitoring due to airborne hazards.
The guest speaker is Aaron Apostolico, who is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and the Product Applications and Research Manager with Sensidyne, LP. Mr. Apostolico is well versed in the practice of Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Health & Safety. His specific knowledge includes evaluation of safety hazards, accident investigation, risk analysis, safety program audits, safety training, compliance review, and development and implementation of safety programs. He is also proficient in industrial hygiene air monitoring, with evaluation of field test results and management recommendations.
