Materials handling blog
Toyota Material Handling UK has launched an online blog to discuss all elements of material handling equipment, from the purchase process to efficient operation.
The blog includes a host of articles created by the Toyota team to share their experience and knowledge in the logistics industry. The blog will publish regular articles offering advice and insight covering all elements of materials handling.
The new blog, named The Exchange, is a source of informal but informative advice on a wide range of subjects including health and safety, buying guidance, plus the benefits and suitability of materials handling equipment in different working environments. It is free for anyone to view and Toyota is confident that it will become a source of knowledge and insight within the materials handling sector.
Commercial manager Tony Wallis said: “There are lots of things you need to consider when buying or operating forklift and warehouse trucks, so we want to offer people free guidance about all areas of materials handling.”
So far there have been articles on how to safely get on an off a forklift, advice of fuels and transmissions for forklifts trucks and discussion of the differences between purchase and rental.
