Atex approval

Casella CEL’s TUFF range
of Personal Air Sampling
Pumps, has gained ATEX
(and IECEx) Intrinsically
Safe approval for use in
flammable atmospheres.

TUFF pumps can now be used
at hazardous sites where there is a
potential risk of explosive dust or gas.

Designed to European IP54
standards, the TUFF has received
certification to ‘M1’ classification –
required for mining applications,
allowing it to be safely used underground
without the need for a hot
work permit.
