Eye protection award
Based on recent analysis of the eye protection market, Frost & Sullivan is recognising Univet with the 2014 European Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Leadership.
Univet is commited to innovative technologies, integrating existing technologies into new product offerings, and supplying high-quality, user-friendly products in the European marketplace.
Univet invests heavily in R&D to come up with unique eye protection technologies, such as: the SoftPad – a terminal that is attached to the temple of the company’s safety eyewear products; Sylex – which is used in the company’s laser safety eyewear frames; and Amber IPL, a lens designed to provide protection from intense pulsed light.
Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the award to a company that has developed a pioneering technology that not only enhances current products, but also enables the development of newer products and applications. The award recognises the high market acceptance potential of the recipient’s technology.
