KASK at Expoprotection 2026
KASK WILL exhibit at Expoprotection 2026 in Paris from 3–5 November (Hall 1, Stand T045), showcasing the latest innovations in industrial head protection.

At this year’s Expoprotection, visitors will have the opportunity to discover KASK’s latest developments across its industrial helmet collections and explore two topics that are shaping the future of head protection: the transition to the new EN 397:2025/AC:2025 standard and the growing importance of all-round protection in real-world working environments.
The new EN 397:2025/AC:2025 standard
By introducing mandatory performance requirements for lateral impacts and enhanced energy absorption, the new standard represents a decisive move towards testing methods that more accurately reflect the dynamics of real workplace accidents. For KASK, this evolution is particularly meaningful. The company is proud to have played an active role in this transformation from the beginning, contributing to the working group responsible for drafting the new standard and supporting the development of requirements capable of delivering tangible safety benefits for workers across Europe.
Participation in the standardisation process reflects a long-standing commitment that extends beyond product development. Through continuous collaboration with industry stakeholders, certification bodies and technical experts, KASK has actively contributed to creating a clearer and more robust regulatory framework for industrial head protection. Having anticipated many of these requirements through years of research, advanced helmet engineering and internal testing protocols, KASK is fully prepared for the transition.
Beyond compliance: advancing all-round protection
KASK has long embraced a broader approach to head protection, focusing on all-round safety. Drawing on research into traumatic brain injury and insights from sectors such as rescue, mountaineering and high-performance sports, the company has invested heavily in understanding how helmets can provide more effective protection in complex accident situations. This commitment led KASK to introduce its proprietary KASK WG11 Rotational Impact Test in 2019, applying the protocol across its helmet portfolio.
Inspired by advanced testing methodologies and based on principles used in the European motorcycle helmet standard ECE 22.06, the protocol evaluates rotational forces using Brain Injury Criterion (BrIC) values, providing an additional layer of performance assessment beyond traditional industrial certification requirements. The result is a design philosophy centred on real-world performance.
