RFID harnessed for safety

According to AIC Solutions, the attributes of RFID can now be harnessed to protect the workforce, conscious or unconscious/ incapacitated, when exposed to dangerous working conditions in applications including lone worker, man-down, conveyor feeds, moving vehicles, balers and shredders.

The company’s range of TECident products is designed to provide inexpensive solutions to the most difficult of situations where previously the concept had failed due to misuse of the technology. In particular, this had caused doubts due to ‘bogus’ tripping.
