The time is near – BSIF Safety Awards deadline for entries is fast approaching

The deadline for the prestigious BSIF Safety Awards 2011, held at the Safety and Health Expo is fast approaching and potential entrants are now being urged to submit their entries by Friday 4th March 2011 to ensure that they stand a chance of winning the three award categories.

The BSIF Safety Awards have been taking place for the past ten years and are the only awards to promote the importance of innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational health and safety.

The awards are made up of three categories: Product Innovation – new and innovative products that contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health; Service – award for companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions; and Safety Excellence (this award is open to BSIF members only) – recognises major improvements in occupational safety created in 2010/2011. The first two awards are open to any organisation providing occupational health and safety products and services that feels it can demonstrate the qualities needed for the particular category. Entry for all BSIF members is £80 + VAT, whilst non-members are charged at £160 + VAT for each entry.

The awards will be judged this year by a panel of eminent safety industry personalities and the winners will be revealed at the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Safety Awards Dinner, in front of over 500 key industry safety users. The awards will give the winning manufacturers and suppliers pride of place at the event as well as contribute to the winners’ standing and respect within the sector.
