Working at height training academy

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

TB Davies has created the Working at Height Training Academy, which is comprised of new and extensive 3-acre facilities in Cardiff Bay, to share 70 years of experience and expertise with its clients’ staff.

TB Davies is constantly working to improve both its products and customers’ experience, and the new facilities afford it the space and scope to take that responsibility to the next level, supporting their product range with dedicated expert training.

The academy is said to offer a flexible approach: the new range of tailored courses are run by an experienced team and created to give your staff the knowledge, skills and confidence to use ladders legally and safely.

In addition to courses at the Cardiff Training Academy, TB Davies offers the convenience of a national service for courses held on customers’ sites. Almost all courses can be delivered at clients’ own premises and they also have a calendar of open courses that can be individually booked.

The courses are particularly popular in the construction, heavy industry and facilities management areas. High customer demand means they’ve expanded into heavier industry requirements, such as powered access, complementing the lighter manual handling and first aid courses.

The majority of courses are certified by nationally recognised bodies such as The Ladder Association, PASMA, IPAF and St John’s Ambulance.
