Welder protection covered

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Weldability-Sif, UK based “one stop source” for all welding products, has introduced a new overall that has been designed specifically for those who weld as part of their daily work. The new overalls are manufactured from a treated cotton blend material that is flame resistant.

The Weldability Sif Flame Resistant Overall includes an elasticated waist band, which ensures they are not restrictive when having to manoeuvre the body to maintain the optimum stance for welding. Concealed fasteners ensure that spatter and sparks do not damage the fasteners and the side pocket has a masked opening that allows pockets in under garments to be accessed if required.

All tools and accessories that may be required during welding can be stored within a segmented breast pocket that is suitable for storage of markers and small accessories. An instrument hook is also provided which will allow a personal air quality monitor to be attached. A convenient pocket on the rear of the leg allows a steel role or screwdriver to be kept readily available.

The Weldability Sif Overall range is fully compliant to EN1611:2007 Class A1 + A2 and EN 11612:20078 Class A1 + A2, B1, C1, E1, F1.
