Waterproof shell jacket

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Workwear designer and manufacturer Fristads Kansas has developed a new water- and windproof shell jacket – Airtech Jacket – which enables craftsmen to work even in wet and windy conditions.

The jacket is made from the Airtech fabric, which is said to have a waterpillar of 10,000mm for protection against rain, wind and snow. In addition, the water- and windproof fabric provides breathability to ensure optimal body temperature and comfort during hard work.

The jacket features pre-shaped sleeves for fit and freedom of movement, as well as elastic inner cuffs with thumb grip that keep cold air out. There are plenty of pockets, including a map pocket with integrated mobile phone pocket accessible from the outside.

Airtech Jacket 4906 GTT is available in one plain colour (black) and two 3-colour combinations that are new for this season. The jacket will be launched in spring 2016.

The jacket also comes in a lined version for colder climates – Airtech Jacket 4916 GTT – which will be launched this autumn. This warmer jacket will be available in two 3-colour combinations.
