HAND PROTECTION specialist Unigloves is celebrating a landmark 20th anniversary since it set up its UK operations.

The company, with its global manufacturing base in Malaysia consisting of four production facilities, produces in excess of 4 billion gloves annually and has grown since its arrival in the UK in 2002 to become one of Europe’s most trusted providers of protective products and services.

The company – which manufactures both single use and reusable hand protection ranges for use across a diverse range of industry sectors – in addition to the provision of hand care and hand hygiene products – has recently made significant investments in growing its sales and administration teams in addition to new product development has also announced the opening of new offices in Poland and Bulgaria.

Unigloves’ UK managing director Chris Wahlers said, “I’m often asked how a 20 year old business makes itself recognised in such an established and competitive market which the PPE one undoubtedly is. It’s one of my favourite questions and one I always answer in the same way.

“By understanding both our distributors’ and our end users’ needs, anticipating how they will evolve in the future, and focusing on hand protection solutions for them in the long-term, we can build on the Unigloves brand promise: “KEEPING YOU SAFE”.
