Flexible working practices and a
quick response mean that Transweb
has won a contract for (and
already delivered) the biggest net it
has ever produced. The order came
from a company whose existing
supplier was unable to fulfil this
important contract.

As a leader in the design and
manufacture of textile lifting slings
including round and webbing
slings, lashing systems and load
restraints, the company was well
placed to step into the breach and
supply the required product to its
customer.

The product in question was a
cargo net for use on a graincarrying
boat. The net is stretched
over a tarpaulin to hold it down;
the tarpaulin in turn covers and
protects the cargo.
