Demag Cranes & Components has
launched a new training course
aimed at all users of lifting
equipment, as well as those involved
in repair, maintenance and service
of such plant. The course, ‘Safe Use
of Lifting Tackle and Operation of
Overhead Gantry Cranes’, is
designed to improve workplace
safety and help employers meet
workplace legislation obligations
including the Health & Safety at
Work Act, PUWER and LOLER.

Typically, the competitively
priced, one day training course is
held at customers’ premises, to help
operators gain familiarity with the
equipment they are using on a dayto-
day basis. Alternatively, where
circumstances dictate, the course
may be undertaken at Demag’s
dedicated training facility, in
Banbury.
