In a move to show its commitment
to safety in the workplace and the
skills of lift truck operators, Toyota
Material Handling UK sponsored
this year’s RTITB Operator of the
Year Competition.

The competition, first established
in 2008, has been acknowledged as an
innovative way in which to allow
NORS qualified counterbalance
operators the opportunity to
showcase their operating skills. At the
same time, the competition also
acknowledges the hard work and
dedication of their trainers.

Taking advantage of sponsoring a
nationally recognised competition
Toyota supported the competition by
supplying trucks for each of the
National Finals and the Grand Final
held at RTITB headquarters in
Telford. Toyota also supplied the
venue for the Northern England
National Final at the Castleford
depot as well as supplying the first
prize of a brand new Toyota Aygo Ice
