ATH is a new material from Fristads
incorporated in the Fristads
Flamestat jacket and trousers
series which meets new
EN certification
requirements.

The jackets and
trousers meet five of
the certification
criteria: flame
retardant, high visibility,
antistatic properties, and protection
against arcs and acids. “The jacket has
a consciously neutral design, which is
why it is not certified as a high
visibility jacket. We’ve simply
responded to our customers’ requests
for an attractive, neutral work jacket,”
says Susanne Schröter, product
developer at Fristads.

The ATH material consists of
modacrylic, cotton and
antistatic fibres. It is dirt-,
oil- and water-repellent.

The garment has basic
flame-retardant properties,
offering protection against
heat, flames and arcs. The
flame-retardant properties are
inherent in the ATH material, which
has therefore not been treated with a
flame-retardant substance.
