Three in one
As part of its range of multimeters and clamp meters, electrical measurement solutions specialist Martindale Electric has launched a clamp meter that also has an insulation tester built-in.
The CMi210 insulation clamp meter, is designed to provide a true RMS measurement of AC current up to 1500A and AC voltage up to 750V, as well as insulation tests to 6G Ohms with 5 test voltages from 50V to 1000V.
The device is suitable for anyone carrying out general testing and maintenance in service and installation organisations. The new design replaces three instruments in a single handheld design and has large LCD displays. With the built in AC/DC clamp there is no need to break into the circuit to measure current allowing for faster and safer testing.
