Combisafe’s UBIX temporary roof and
RunWay track system is providing
reliable and versatile weather
protection during the £15m rooftop
extension of a five storey residential
building in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Working with main contractor
NCC for client, Poseidon, Berger
Scaffolding AB was appointed to
install a temporary roof to offer
weather protection and enable a
smooth and efficient construction
programme. With an additional
prerequisite that the roof could be
opened anytime and anywhere to
allow construction materials to be
lifted through the roof – the UBIX
temporary roof system fitted the bill.

Tested for safety and functionality
at various stages of the construction
process, the UBIX roofs were built
on the ground before being mounted
on to the RunWay system.
