Cosaf has won a highly complex
contract at Siemens, Congleton. The
the site is used to produce variable
speed drives and carry out R&D into
drive technology. Cosaf was tasked
to design, supply and install a low
energy, low carbon cooling system
to replace an existing air
conditioning system serving the
automation and drives test cells. A
secure, reliable system that would
not allow temperatures to rise
above 25°C in line with stringent
guidelines was needed.

The Breezair system selected,
which is exclusive to Cosaf, was
deemed superior to products and
methods tendered. With improved
air delivery and significant noise
level reduction Breezair also
dovetailed seamlessly with Siemens’
environmental policies, saving on
energy costs and keeping efficiency
rates competitively high.
