Store substances at the correct temperature

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

In certain industries, there is a need to store substances at a specific temperature, predominantly in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical or food and drink arenas.

Should the correct temperature not be maintained, the substances can spoil or become dangerous. To combat this and in addition to its heated bunded stores, Empteezy has expanded its range to incorporate a variety of original and market-leading electrical surface heating products for both drums and IBCs.

These have been designed for a number of scenarios and provide a safe and cost-effective solution helping ensure the materials are held at the correct temperature while in storage, transportation or within the production/process area.

Applying uniform surface heat to a relevant product eliminates concerns for localised overheating and prevents damage to more sensitive materials such as sugars or glucose and other viscous materials such as soaps, fats, foodstuffs, varnishes and chemicals, allowing them to be pumped or poured with ease.
