Stay safe with salt spreader

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

A forklift attachment firm is helping its customers prepare for the potentially hazardous weather this winter.

Contact Attachments’ ‘Towable Forklift’ salt spreader can be connected to any vehicle with a ball hitch or towing pin connection, and has an adjustable height draw bar to suit a range of heights. As the spreader is mechanically driven rather than requiring an electrical or auxiliary connection, it is quick and easy to set up, and with a storage capacity of 190 litres, it is suitable for spreading salt on large surfaces such as car parks.

The Pedestrian Push salt spreader can be used to grit smaller areas such as pathways and access ways. Its ergonomic handles ensure ease of use, while deflector plates control spread pattern.
