New Altro Wood Safety flooring and the new Altro Whiterock Satins wall cladding have been fitted in the communal areas of a Suffolk care home, where hygiene, safety and ease of cleaning are paramount.
The Dell Care Home has used Altro products before with great success, so when it came to refurbishing the real timber flooring, owner Shawn Sunderland opted for Altro once again.
“The new wood-effect safety flooring looks fabulous; you’d think it was real wood, but it has all the properties of Altro safety flooring, it’s very safe, practical and easy to maintain. It’s also sparkle-free, which is essential for our dementia residents who can be very sensitive to various stimuli.”
He added: “We also selected Altro Whiterock Satins for the walls, in Scarlet, which is very striking. It’s a great product, grout-free, so it’s very hygienic and easy to clean.”
