ROSPA recognition
Konecranes’ already exemplary record within the field of health and safety received further recognition recently, when the UK operation received a Silver Medal at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents 2013 Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
Recognising corporate commitment to accident and ill health prevention, the award made to Konecranes – a leading supplier of overhead cranes and lifting equipment and operators of UK’s largest crane service network – was within the Achievement category. Konecranes was a previous Gold Medal recipient at the ROSPA Awards in 2011/2012.
Konecranes’ Pat Campbell said: “Our ongoing approach will be to deliver improved performance by fostering a safety culture right across the business.”
