Contact Attachments has
designed and
manufactured a bespoke
Aerial Rescue Platform to
help ports and docks
management authorities
salvage injured crew from
ships. The product has
been produced especially
for H.E.F., a long-standing
client of the company in
Belgium, and has already
been installed at Antwerp
docks.

The platform is capable
of holding up to eight
people plus a stretcher, has
self-closing and automaticlocking
gates for additional
security, and is also
protected by a salt-resistant
coating to ensure the
steelwork isnt corroded by
seawater.

Not only does the
bespoke platform conform
with current EU regulations,
but it also exceeds new Safety
Port Authority Regulations.

“The feedback we’ve
received has been extremely
positive, and we’ve had a
number of enquiries to
produce similar products
from a range of potential
customers,” says Joe Headley,
international business
development manager.
