New Pulsar Noise Awareness Courses increase understanding of measurement and control of noise in the workplace

Sound Measurement equipment manufacturer, Pulsar Instruments plc is launching a new noise awareness course programme across the UK in a bid to help professionals, from any background, seeking an understanding on the key issues to the measurement and control of noise in the workplace.

Following last year’s tremendous success, Pulsar Instruments plc is launching a new training programme for its popular noise awareness courses for 2011.

Pulsar is celebrating its 41st year in business this year and is drawing from its extensive experience of the noise measurement industry. The workshop program covers areas such as basic noise theory, the terminology used in noise measurement and also The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and BS4142 Method for Rating Industrial Noise Affecting Mixed Residential and Industrial Areas’. It also offers an interactive practical session where delegates get the opportunity to make some noise measurements under the guidance of experienced professionals.
