Designer of noise and vibration
monitoring instrumentation,
Svantek has launched the new
SV106 Human Vibration Meter
and Analyser. Capable of
measuring both hand-arm (HAV)
and whole body vibration (WBV),
it can measure vibration simultaneously
on both hands using two triaxial
accelerometers.

Lightweight and pocket sized,
with its high-resolution colour
display, the Svantek SV106 analyser
is claimed to provide a completely
new approach to vibration
monitoring. Featuring six channels
for vibration
and two
channels for
static force
measurement,
the innovative
SV106 can also
be used to
measure wholebody
vibration
when used with
a seat
accelerometer.

The
instrument
provides both
octave and third octave real time
band analysis and fully complies
with standards ISO 8041:2005 and
ISO 2631-1,2&5 (including VDV
and MTVV) for human vibration
and ISO 5349 for hand-arm
vibration.
