The new compact Hawker XFC, powerbloc and powerbloc dry batteries from EnerSys are designed for smaller motive power applications that need excellent performance and long running times with reduced operating costs and enhanced sustainability.

The batteries are suitable for pallet trucks, cleaning machines, small automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) and other electric vehicles.

Incorporating thin-plate-pure-lead (TPPL) technology, the batteries can be recharged very quickly and for short periods whenever required without affecting its life-time performance. This helps maintain machine availability throughout multiple shifts while additional costs associated with spare batteries and changing facilities are avoided.

Minimum gassing ensures the battery can be used in retail areas, public spaces and sensitive locations. It is virtually maintenance free and no water topping-up is necessary.

EnerSys also offers a range of powerbloc and powerbloc dry monobloc batteries that are designed to deliver excellent performance in light, medium and heavy duty applications: the Hawker XFC and TP powerbloc batteries, and the Hawker MFP dry powerbloc battery.
