Mentor gains Approved Training Organisation status from CITB

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Mentor Training is thrilled to announce that it is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) as recognised by CITB.

After changing how it supports training for the construction industry, CITB is now offering a service which enables approved training organisations to deliver fully-funded, quality training.

The grant-claim scheme that came into action earlier this year offers a single platform from which employers can gain access to a construction training directory & register and allows customers to receive something back from the training booked.

Grant payments will now be processed automatically, making it easier for users to book courses and taking the hassle out of levy claims as well as encouraging construction industry training and helping to bridge the widening skills gap.

Some of the courses that are already CITB approved and offered by Mentor include: IPAF Operator, IPAF Demonstrator, IPAF MEWPs for Managers, PASMA Towers for Users, PASMA Combined, PASMA Low-Level, PASMA Towers for Managers, PASMA Towers on Stairs.

This platform will allow users to find desired courses and register for automatic grant payments on the training received.

Sign-up to Mentor's newsletter and they will let you know as soon as more auto-grant courses become available. Register here: https://www.mentortrainingsolutions.co.uk/newsletter
