At its manufacturing facility at
Hamble on the south coast, contact
lens specialist, CooperVision has
invested in Denios high capacity 2K
714 Systems Containers to
accommodate the crucial chemical of
Industrial Methylated Spirit (IMS)
which is the core liquid for the
crucial process of lubricating the lens
during the manufacturing process.

The company already had smaller
Denios wing door units, and an
appraisal and re-planning of the
external storage area resulted in the
two bigger configurations being
installed. Each of the cabinets can

accommodate a total of 12 of the
steel Intermediate Bulk Containers
(IBCs). Vital ventilation is built in to
the system, as is zinc plating and
fully welded construction plus a 3
coat anti-corrosion paint finish.
