LWP shortlisted

Connexion2’s 8 Series Identicom has
been shortlisted for the new ‘Lone
Worker Protection Solution of The
Year’ award at the IFSEC and FIREX
Awards 2013. The category celebrates
and acknowledges technical
innovation and excellence in devices
that have been specifically designed
with lone workers in mind.

Launched at IFSEC last year,
Connexion2’s 8 Series Identicom
range has proved popular due to its
smaller size and extended
functionality including one or twoway
audio as well as updated GPS
technology. The improved
communication technology can be
used to gain a greater understanding
of an incident in a risk appropriate
situation such as when a user suffers
from a ‘Man Down’ incident due to a
slip, trip or fall. The Awards will take
place at the Hilton Birmingham
Metropole Hotel on
13th May.
