Lifter with safety screen
PACKLINE’S CUSTOM boom attachment for handling rolls was designed in response to a customer enquiry in the packaging industry to lift large rolls in the horizontal position and load onto the packaging machinery.
The custom boom attachment, with dimensions of 50mm x 1400mm, is designed to lift heavy rolls up to a capacity of 350kg, however higher rated models may be available on request.
The lifter incorporates a bespoke safety screen over the lifting mechanism to protect the operator and ensure the lifting equipment is safe for the operator to use. The safety screen is mounted onto the lifting carriage and raises and lowers with the carriage to ensure the carriage is always enclosed, covering the chain mechanism.
The safety screen separates the operator from the lifting mechanism. In addition, a permanently fixed rear screen ensures the operator is protected from the lifting mechanism from the front and rear.
