As well as being designed to exceed the
EN812+A1 standard, which requires
protection at four impact sites, JSP’s
Winter HardCap A1+ features fold
down flaps that cover the ears and neck
for added warmth and protection.

Suitable for use in frozen food
industries, cold storage or for outdoor
work such as marine environments,
the cap has passed the test for work in
conditions as cold as -30°C.

The cap can withstand a 5kg
impact dropped from 0.25m from
any direction up to 60 degrees offcentre,
and provides spike
penetration protection of 500g from
0.50m. This exceeds the protection
requirements of EN812+A1, and JSP
claims makes it the highestperforming
baseball style bump cap
on the market.
