The safety company, Arco, is donating 1% of the sales of its E-gard range to the Sound Seekers charity to help raise funds to conduct work overseas. The campaign is the first of Arco’s 125 good deeds to celebrate its 125th anniversary.
Seven out of ten deaf children live in the developing world with no access to basic hearing assessment, treatment and medicines. Sound Seekers works to improve the lives of deaf children and children living with ear disease in the developing countries of the Commonwealth of Nations. The E-Gard range, available in Arco’s Big Book catalogue, on its website and through its branch network, is said to guarantee the wearer a high performing, comfortable hearing protector at an affordable price. The range provides hearing solutions for all safety requirements and includes disposable ear plugs, reusable corded ear plugs, banded ear plugs and detectable ear plugs.
