LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services
(LOTAMS) is using a Combilift 4-
way forklift as a safer alternative to
its previous truck for handling large
loads containing aircraft components

Offloading these from HGV’s and
transporting them to the workshop
was a tricky and potentially risky
procedure with the old
counterbalance forklift.

The all-directional capability of
the Combilift LPG powered C2500
model with a 2.5t capacity affords
operators a good field of vision, has
impressive manoeuvrability and
copes easily with the heaviest loads
of around 1200kg. A fork spreader
attachment adds stability when
moving the longest crates.
