Safesite has provided Frimley Park
Hospital with falls from height
protection to ensure safe access for
maintenance and repair of plant and
equipment situated on its roofs.

The recent work has involved the
installation of System 2000 as part
of a ward extension in addition to
the removal and replacement of
previously installed systems while reroofing
work was being carried out.

System 2000 is the only BBA
approved cantilever guardrail system
and is useful when regular access is
required. The guardrail’s
freestanding design means that it
does not need to be mechanically
fixed to the roof itself overcoming
the risk of damage to the roof’s
membrane which can cause water
penetration, costly repairs and
insurance invalidation.
