Ground mounted support
Big Foot Systems, a manufacturer of building services non-penetrative free-standing support systems, now offers a Stand Range to support air conditioning units on the ground.
This new addition is said to be the only off-the-shelf solution for ground-mounted applications currently available.
The range is a simple solution for contractors who have previously made DIY supports out of struts as a quick-fix on site. Instead this is a lightweight and high quality solution that comes boxed and ready to use and is a convenient system for contractors to have in the back of their van.
The ground mount support system caters for a wide variety of condensing units, with two ranges that suit mini splits and VRF/VRV condensing units. Available in a number of sizes, with extender kits and cross bar spacings that are adjustable to accommodate various unit sizes, the supports can be used both individually and in banks. As a freestanding solution there is no requirement to secure the Stand Range to the floor or building.
