Generator inspection

shentongroup has won a major
contract from a nationwide
communications group to inspect
and survey hundreds of standby
generators at sites across the UK.

shentongroup engineers are carrying
out a series of non-intrusive surveys
of the generators, providing a detailed
report on each generator and, if
necessary, carrying out remedial work
as required.

The engineers are carrying out a
detailed visual inspection of the
installation. In compliance with the
latest health and environmental
standards, this includes but is not
limited to, the cooling exhaust
system, fuel storage system, fuel
pipework, fuel transfer system and
control panel and the canopy. The
engineers also check starting and
stopping procedures.
