The uvex UK sales team has
undergone and passed the industryrecognised
exam and practical
assessment for face fit-testing,
meaning that they now have the
knowledge and practical skills to
competently fit uvex respirators.

To provide adequate protection,
respiratory protective equipment
(RPE) must be fitted and worn
properly every single time it is used,
or it will be worse than useless.

The Fit2Fit (Fit Test Providers
Accreditation Scheme), launched by
the BSIF and HSE to raise the quality
of fit-testing in the UK and reduce
the incidence of occupational
respiratory injury from poor-fitting
respirators, confirms the competency
of any person performing face fit
testing. uvex is said to be one of the
few European manufacturers with full
fit-testing accreditation, giving the
uvex RPE wearer total confidence.
