Making its debut at IOSH 10 is
FASET, the trade association and
training body for the international
safety net rigging and fall arrest
industry. Committed to building,
maintaining and expanding
knowledge and best practice, it
represents all manufacturers and
suppliers in this specialist sector.

A collective protection system,
and increasingly specified on sites
both large and small, safety nets are
used to save lives and reduce injury
on site by absorbing energy from a
falling body. As such they are
subject to stringent inspection and
maintenance routines. The
association actively promotes the
three C’s: competent rigging,
compliant product and
comprehensive maintenance.

FASET has a national network of
approved and audited training
centres.
