Extends ‘hazardous areas’ range
Flexicon has extended its range of flameproof hazardous area EXD barrier glands to provide stainless steel (grade 316) fittings for applications that require additional corrosion resistance.
It has also introduced NPT threaded gland variants across its hazardous area fittings to broaden their application and compatibility.
Suitable for Ex d, Ex e and Ex ta applications, the stainless steel fittings have the highest ingress rating of up to IP69k.
They can be used with any 10 of the 11 liquid tight conduit from Flexicon’s range to provide cable protection solutions in Zone1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 hazardous areas.
