Employability Awards winners
A partnership between TC Facilities Management (TCFM) and Remploy, the disability employment specialists, has won the Large Employer of the Year award at the ERSA Employability Awards 2017.
The winners were announced at a ceremony attended by the Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work, Penny Mordaunt MP and hosted by BBC journalist Kirsty Lang.
The ERSA Employability Awards are now in their fifth year. The awards showcase and champion best practice from across the employment support sector, celebrating and recognising the hard work and achievements of those involved in supporting people into work.
Rachel Gardiner, head of HR for TCFM, said: “We’re delighted to win the ERSA award for the Large Employer category. This is a huge achievement, especially given the calibre of the nominations for this award. Knowing that we are making a difference to people with a disability or health condition is hugely satisfying, and to receive a national award recognising this is fantastic! Our partnership with Remploy goes from strength to strength and I look forward to seeing how we will continue to grow together in the future.”
James Kimberley, Remploy national account manager, added: “Winning the Large Employer of the Year award is a fantastic accolade for TCFM and adds to the increasing recognition they are getting for their achievements over the last ten years. They continue to develop and support disabled people into work and have pledged to support many more in the future. It was great to be able to nominate them – even better for them to win!”
