When Cambridge Pet Crematorium
(CPC) identified a dust issue being
created when decanting cremated
remains into urns, AirBench
provided a solution.
Cremated remains (of pets or
humans) have to be transferred from
the cremator into holding containers,
and then on into their final urn.
When decanting these fine
powders, clouds of dust of a
respirable size can form. These dusts
can be harmful to health
CPC now performs this operation
on an AirBench. The dust clouds
generated are captured by AirBench’s
powerful downdraught extraction,
and captured within the internal
filters. The filters are easily emptied –
in this case, the collected ashes are
scattered with care and respect at all
times.
