BSIF in action
The BSIF organises and coordinates a large and wide-ranging portfolio of groups for companies of all sizes who are active in the Health & Safety, Environmental Protection and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) markets in the UK and Europe.
They are organised by function, with associations for specific activities for example Personal Safety Manufacturers Association (PSMA); Product Groups that cover everything from head to safety footwear and Working Groups to develop and control projects for example the Spills Containment & Control Group.
Recently the Skin Protection Group updated and re-launched the ‘It’s In Your Hands’ campaign to help reduce dermatitis and skin cancer, and the Hearing Protection Product Group is working with the Health & Safety Executive to develop training material for an educational project. This is managed by the newly formed ‘Listen Today, Hear Tomorrow’ Working Group.
