Alternative to aramid

Manufacturer of high performance

PPE, Bennett Safetywear has
extended its range to include a new
lightweight 13 gauge alternative to
aramid cut-resistant gloves.

The Epitex Comfort Cut 3 glove is
said to utilise a new combination of
technical yarns and the latest knitting
technology to provide higher levels of
both abrasion-resistance (EN 388
level 2) and cut-resistance (EN388
level 3) traditionally associated with
lightweight aramid gloves.

The anatomical design and the
special elastic construction produce a
glove which is close-fitting and
comfortable to wear over extended
periods. This, together with its
enhanced mechanical performance,
makes it suited to a range of
handling and assembly operations,
especially where protection against
sharp edges is required.
