24 hour protection

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Sandwell Council is the latest organisation to sign up to an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) that offers 24 hour protection for lone workers.

The system enables staff to set an alarm which is triggered at the ARC if they fail to check in. Based at the offices of the system developers, Voice Connect, the ARC is the latest service from the company who have designed a suite of products to protect lone working staff.

The lone worker system is used by NHS trusts, utility companies, housing trusts and councils across the UK.
