Following its recent AGM, there will now be a progressive development in the structure of the BSIF to make it a more focused public service organisation striving for improvements in occupational health and safety. At the same time, it will continue to be the safety industry’s only supply-side organisation dedicated to the improvement of its members’ businesses.

Recent success has show that the most effective strategy to achieve these aims continues to be a further development of the BSIF’s ability to work with other stakeholders, pursuing closely focused objectives to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.

Having developed campaigns with the HSE to help avoid industrial dermatitis and significant reductions in work-related respiratory diseases, the BSIF is continuing to review the ways in which it can develop new initiatives with other stakeholders to deliver events and activities targeted to stimulate further improvements in industrial safety.
