Lyte Industries (Wales) Ltd

Established in 1947, Lyte have been manufacturing aluminium and glass fibre access equipment for over 65 years. Ladders & Towers from Lyte have been used in many countries all over the world and for all sorts of reasons.

One of the most famous expeditions in the world, the ascent to the summit of Mount Everest in May 1953, was completed By Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay and involved the use of a Lyte sectional aluminium ladder. This was used to negotiate the crevasse they encountered and we believe that ladder is still there today!

Lyte's products have been used in many box office smash hit films as well as various popular television DIY programmes.

Manufactured in Swansea, Lyte are proud to be one of the only companies still producing products in the UK. The majority of the Lyte portfolio is manufactured at the factory in South Wales.

In an ever changing world of Health & Safety Lyte are fully aware of the issues our customers face and so, where relevant, all our products are certified to the relevant BSI standards. We also have a fully PASMA & LMA accredited training centre, this gives customers and users of Ladders & Towers the opportunity to ensure they are fully competent to use the equipment they have, safely!

With products being delivered throughout the UK Lyte have a fleet of vehicles ready to deliver as well as a reliable courier service.
