Crackdown on bogus accident claims

A new package of measures to tackle insurance fraudsters and dishonest claims has been announced by the government which should reduce the amount being paid out unnecessarily by insurance companies on fraudulent claims and enable them to pass on savings to honest customers. These will affect bogus claims, both motor claims and others such as ‘trips and slips’ at work and in public places.

England’s World Cup exit good for the nation’s health

England’s early exit from the World Cup isn’t all bad news as an infographic looking at its economic impact shows there could be some positive news for the nation’s health. Consumption of alcohol is expected to drop by 67% and fans are likely to spend £12m less on junk food as a result of the team’s early departure. While the infographic, produced by Real Business Rescue, shows publicans will suffer, fewer late nights and lower alcohol consumption could make for a more productive workforce.

The award is open to organisations or teams based in England from any sector or discipline that can demonstrate evidence of the positive impact projects or services have had on employees and organisational objectives.
