A new survey looking into the PPE supplied to the UK police force has revealed that 71% of UK police officers admit that unsatisfactory work boots have distracted them from their job. Almost half (46%) confessed that they have even been prevented from carrying out their daily tasks due to bad quality footwear.

Dr. Martens has been supplying workers worldwide with staple uniform footwear since the 1960s. To pay homage to the brand’s firmly rooted history, Dr. Martens has launched of its new service collection, which has been developed for the likes of uniformed workers, police officers, paramedics and security guards.

Footwear brand Dr. Martens’ new Modern Outdoor range has been specifically designed to offer workers immediate work boot comfort and allow for a seamless transition when replacing boots.
Foot health failings
Despite 50% of UK tradesmen spending over 9 hours a day on their feet, new research has revealed that 90% of workers feel the industry doesn’t do enough to educate and promote the importance of foot health.
